Halifax 7s
Well done to Caldy and Scots Guards for winning last years Cup and Plate competitions. Barbados and Knaresboro were worthy runners up.
It’s that time of year again when we are looking for entries to the HALIFAX 7s. This year the competition will be held on Saturday the 3rd of August with team registration from 10am also with a slightly different format.
Elite Cup competition - this will consist of 8 teams who take their 7s seriously in two pools of 4, the top two in each progressing to the semi-finals and the bottom two to the semi-finals of the shield.
Cup Prize money winners - £300
Runners up - £100
Losing semi-finalists -£75
Shield Prize money winners -£50
Social Plate competition - this will consist of 8 team who have a more light hearted approach to 7s in two pools of 4 with the top two in each progressing to the semi-finals
Plate Prize fund winners - £50 of beer tokens
Runners up -£25 of beer tokens
