Halifax 7s
Halifax Rugby Union will once again be holding their annual sevens tournament at Ovenden Park on 28th July 2012.
First Prize is £250 for the winners of the main competition and £100 for the runner up. £100 prize for the winners of the plate and £50 for the runner up.
Each team will be placed into leagues, followed by the 2 knockout competitions. The top two in each group go into the main competition, the next two to the plate. One of the features we hope to achieve is to bring together clubs and teams who would not normally meet in a regular season. Entry will be limited to 20 teams on a first come first served basis. All spectators will be charged £3 general admission.
Camping will be available on Friday and Saturday along with the clubhouse bar, refreshments and shower facilities at a small fee of £25 per person (this includes admission to the main event and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday). All bookings are required in advance.
