Scores and try scorers from the weekends games

1xv perform under the lights while ladies get off to a flying start

HALIFAX V HEATH

The 1xv travelled to local side Heath on Friday night to face their 2ndxv in a pre-season game under the floodlights. Halifax got out the blocks first scoring twice in the first 35 minutes with no reply from the Heath side and the majority of play being in their half. A Yellow card for Halifax for a deliberate knock on gave Heath the advantage going into the final minutes of the first half. With an extra man Heath took full advantage and scored just before half time.

HALF TIME
HALIFAX 14-7 HEATH

The second half kicked off and Heath began to pile on the pressure with an extra man it was too much for Halifaxs defence and Heath went over the line scoring twice in quick succession.
At 14-19 down Halifax had to regroup and stage a comeback. With a full team back on the field, they did just that and evened the score up 19-19 just before the full time whistle.
